Life does seem to be getting busier in the 21st century and there are so many options to choose from however whether you are a busy Mum with kids or retired and sharing the joy of minding grandchildren having a well stocked panty, fridge and freezer really makes it simpler to prepare healthy nourishing meals with ease.
With four hungry children I keep my fridge and cupboards stocked with fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds, healthy dips. Make it the first thing they see and if they have busy schedules have carrot sticks etc cut up ready. Get them to help you cut up a container full ready for the next couple of days. Make it easy by making healthy organic wholefoods their only option.
I often cook in large batches and rely heavily on leftovers for breakfast and lunch options. Having your freezer well stocked makes school lunches or easy dinners so much simpler. I figure if I am cooking I may as well make a double batch and freeze some for an easy meal or snack when I am time poor. Having a well stocked pantry makes this so much simpler.
Our beautiful friends at Organics Sisters shared their Pantry Staples list with us. Thanks Brooke and Sally! This is a substantial list of pantry staples that will allow you to keep your family eating wholefood healthy with ease.
